To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of *Transformers: The Movie*, an articulated figure inspired by the color scheme from the animated film is now available in the MDLX line!　Following the first wave featuring Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, the second wave includes Hot Rod and a gray Coronation Starscream. The MDLX line of Transformers figures is based on the original 1980s TV anime series, with design adaptations by threezero’s Art Director, Kelvin Sau. The “MDLX Hot Rod (‘Transformers: The Movie’ 40th Anniversary Edition)” is a fully articulated figure (non-transforming) standing approximately 18 cm tall. The use of a die-cast zinc alloy and engineering plastic frame system provides approximately 46 points of articulation and high durability. The “MDLX Hot Rod (‘Transformers: The Movie’ 40th Anniversary Edition)” is a color variation of the standard MDLX Rodimus Prime figure, which has already been released overseas. It features a color scheme of magenta, orange, and bright yellow inspired by Hot Rod’s appearance in the movie. Included accessories are one laser blaster, one blaster rifle, and eight types of interchangeable wrist parts. The laser blaster and blaster rifle can be combined to form the Photon Eliminator mode.
