Created as a prototype, this is the first Iron Man armor made by Stark Industries. The metallic silver coloring of the prototype was achieved with a multi-layer paint job, faithfully reproducing the Tony Stark-made design seen in the Iron Man movie series films. The DLX Iron Man Mark 2 stands approximately 6.9 inches tall (17.5 cm) and is a fully articulated figure with 48 points of articulation thanks to threezero's signature DLX die-cast system. The precision design and elaborate parts allow for a variety of poses while maintaining a realistic appearance. LED light-emitting features are included on the chest and both eyes. Four flight panels on the back can be opened and closed. Also included are five pairs of interchangeable wrist parts, two arm missiles that can be attached to the forearms of both arms, effect parts for shooting and flying poses, and a DLX action stand to expand the range of display options.
