British military sniper rifle "L118A1" famous for L96.
Uses 7.62 x 51 mm NATO bullets with bolt action.
Also known as the AW rifle (Arctic Warfare = Polar Combat Rifle).
The AW rifle is based on the PM rifle (British military name: L96A1) developed by a British manufacturer established by a gold medalist in shooting competition.
The PM rifle has a stock with thumbholes that sandwich the metal chassis with resin panels.
In addition, it was a novel military sniper rifle to which the advanced technology of shooting competition at that time was applied, such as fixing the action and chassis with screws.
Later, an advanced version of the PM rifle, the "AW rifle," was produced and submitted to the Swedish sniper rifle trial.
The AW rifle, which has been strengthened in various parts and evolved into a firearm that operates even at -40 degrees, is evaluated for its ability and becomes a gun adopted by the Swedish army.
Its ability has been evaluated elsewhere, and it has been officially adopted by the Australian Army and the original British Army.
The British military name is L118A1.
The AW rifle and its derivatives have been recognized by military and law enforcement agencies around the world, and the countries of use are numerous, including Germany, Norway, Russia, South Korea, and Japan.
This kit uses a green stock panel.
The length can be adjusted with a selectable monopod and spacer.
The bolts are movable, and bolt parts with cartridge cases that reproduce the loading process are also included.
The bipod can be opened and closed.
