This mechanism was also used in the later MP5, a high-precision masterpiece SMG. This kit reproduces the "A3" type, a fixed-barrel model of the G3. Selectable carrying handle, bayonet, rail mount and bayonet are provided. A Z51 type night vision scope used by the West German army is also included. Reproduced using two colors of molding. Bayonet mounting selectable.
