Bolt parts are selectable from 6 types in each form and with or without dust cover. Attached Type 30 bayonet is detachable. Rear sight is selectable. Two colors are used for molding: brown and black. This is the second in the "STUDY1942" series, which recreates various firearms developed up to World War II and which became the foundation of modern firearms. Wooden parts are reproduced in two colors: brown and black for metal parts. The bolt parts can be selected from 6 different types with/without the dust cover and in different positions. The dust cover is made as an integrated part with the bolt to reduce the thickness and to emphasize the promotion. The rear sight is selectable. The Type 30 bayonet is detachable. The bayonet is detachable, allowing the viewer to feel the long, 170cm class figure of the Type 38 when attached. The bayonet is detachable. The bayonet can be detached, giving the figure a real sense of the 170cm class long figure when wearing the bayonet, which is typical of the Type 38. Please enjoy this figure in combination with other 1/12th scale movable figures. LittleArmory Type 38 Infantry Gun Type Specifications 1/12 scale Runner kit (without color) Made of resin (PS) Recommended to use adhesives for plastic models Product size: Total length approx. 10.5cm About Type 38 Infantry Gun Type This bolt-action rifle served as Japan's official rifle for 40 years from 1905 (after the Russo-Japanese War) to the end of World War II. The overall length is 1276mm (1670mm when bayoneted), and it uses 6.5×50mm ammunition. It was developed by Kichijiro Nambu, a subordinate of Shigeaki Arisaka. Based on his predecessor's Model 30 rifle, improvements were made based on war lessons learned, such as simplifying the bolt structure, adding safety measures, and adding a dust cover to prevent sand and dust. It was highly evaluated by the U.S., which confronted this firearm, and many of them went to the U.S. after the war and played an active role under the name of Arisaka Type 38.
