From Little Armory, a lineup of elaborate miniature firearms, comes a plastic model of the gun used in the TV anime "501st JOINT COMBAT AIR WING STRIKE WITCHES ROAD to BERLIN"! This product is an assembled 1/12 scale model of the "M1918 (a.k.a. BAR)", a small arms weapon that doubles as an automatic rifle and light machine gun used by Charlotte E. Jaeger of the Rebellion United States. The JGSDF Weapons School was interviewed for the model design. In addition to the precise modeling of the BAR, the model also includes the bipod and other parts that were omitted from the model. The package and illustration card feature an original illustration by Michio Satou. On the back of the illustration card is a commentary on the firearms, written by Takaaki Suzuki, a world view setting and military archaeologist. The illustration card can be used as a display for models by combining it with a clear card (printed on transparent sheet) depicting a magic circle. Each of them is carefully designed to reflect the world view of "Strike Witches". The bipod has been omitted to recreate the unique shape of the Witch model. The wooden stock is reproduced in brown color. The magazine can be detached. As with the open bolt type BAR, it is possible to select the bolt open or closed state. The rear sight can be selected to be raised or lowered depending on the range of fire.
