A precision 1/12 scale model of the legendary M1 Garand rifle. The wooden parts, such as the stock, and the mechanical components are molded in different colors. In addition to the option to display the bolt in the retracted position or the bayonet attached, the model includes separate parts for the ammunition clip, allowing for displays tailored to a variety of scenarios. About the M1 Garand: The M1 Garand is a .30-caliber semi-automatic rifle used by the U.S. military during World War II. As the world’s first semi-automatic rifle designed as the primary infantry weapon, it provided the U.S. military with overwhelming firepower superiority at the time. It employs an “en bloc clip” loading system that holds eight rounds; when all rounds are fired, the empty clip is ejected with a distinctive metallic clink.
