In 2006, Futabasaurus suzukii was officially given a scientific name as a new species in a new genus, Futabasaurus suzukii. Under the supervision of Dr. Tamaki Sato, a fossil researcher of long-necked dragons and the godfather of the scientific name for the new genus and species, the kit has been sculpted to look as it did when it was alive. The kit is a snap-fit type that requires no glue and has a simple parts configuration, making it easy to assemble. The head is selectable from two types, one with the mouth open and the other with the mouth closed. The neck can also be assembled with the head facing forward or bent to the side. While the model is fixed, four posing patterns can be enjoyed by combining the head and neck. This product contains only one "Futabasuzukiryu".
