Plastic Assembled Figure Kit Based on the cover art of Vampirella's comic book #19, "Super Special Issue" by Jose Gonzalez, the figure has been precisely reproduced as a plastic model. With her glazed eyes and imposing pose, she is perhaps the most representative and impressive "Vampirella" of all. Jose Gonzalez first designed the Vampirella in 1969, and went on to design many others. The artwork for the Super Special Issue, on which this image is based, features Carol de Haro as the actual model for the Vampirella. She would appear on covers and comic strips throughout the 70s. The plastic model kit reproduces every hair strand, every delicate muscle movement, and even the vampire bat that rests on Vampirella's outstretched hand in fine detail. In addition, many skulls and piles of bones are placed at the base's feet. If you look closely, you can see that they are not human skulls, but vampire skulls, each with fangs.
