Based on the cover art of Vampirella's comic book #19, “Super Special Issue” by Jose Gonzalez, the figure has been precisely reproduced as a plastic model. Jose Gonzalez first designed the Vampirella in 1969, and went on to design many others. The artwork for the Super Special Issue, on which this image is based, features Carol de Haro as the actual model for the Vampirella. She would appear on covers and comic strips throughout the 70s.
